I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

1/2 hour north of Cincy in a secret hiding spot from many moons ago...


If this place has a name I don't know what it is, I wouldn't post it anyway....

 

Can't seem to get rid of my truck.
Somebody took my tractor into the shop (sure, I'm leaving and NOW they're gonna be punctual with maintenance), so they told me to pick it up when I drop the rental "B" back.
Well the shop is closer to the house, so after cleaning the "B" out, I take it back to Ryder, pick up my tractor and go home.

It's a shame, would have been nice to drop the top on the roadster today.
Oh well, a few more days of using the boss's diesel instead of paying for my own gas again.

Tomorrow, commute in the tractor, pick up a pre-loaded "B" (again?!?) and deliver about an hour away. Then hopefully take my car home.

This is going to be my last "active" week as far as payroll goes. (Anything I do next week will be on my post-employment check) I guess in theory I could call in sick next week. I'm tempted to go into full "don't give a ####" mode, but it's hard because it's not in my nature.

Welp, Made it through orientation, All the stuff I had'ta get done before I book a load, and some of the stuff I gotta do in the next 2 weeks.

And Got a trailer so I can Book a load! Unfortunately by the time I got to the assigned trailer it looks like all the brokers with interesting loads split. Called and left a few msgs. Will try again round abouts sun up.

Rolled in to our wash out about 10:30pm. Baby squiggs all delivered safe and sound to the Iowegions. Too #### many of these days playin real truck driver the last couple weeks !!!! I am ready to get back to my " local hero super trucker " gravy job !!!

 

LOL yup, very nice peeps and we get to take them 1 load a week for 3 more weeks !!! Pretty cool watchin the look on the guys 3 yr old grandson's face when he was listen to them in the trailer, then when we started unloadin all 1,250 of the little farts, he really got to gigglin
