Pretty cool to get back to, " well have have to back up jus to miss the ol Farmall in the weeds, but don't cut it too short or ya hit Gramp's old planter, might want to giver the gas once ya get straight, cause she is a lil soft but, we have a big tractor to pull ya out case ya do ". Was a lot easier with 45ft trailers and 180" trucks, but was a good trip none the less

Pulled the knobs with 6 minutes of drive time here at the Pilot in Hagerstown. Parked on this side of the road since I need a shower but after a shower and lay my head on the pillow for a few I'm gonna walk across the street to the AC&T and find out for myself about the food that Duo and PackRat are always hollering about.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
You lucky sob ! We haven't had that since last summer. The food at AC&T is the only reason we like going to the east coast. Their fried chicken and sides is awesome. Big portions. If you have room left over then get a slice of their cake.FatDaddy and PackRatTDI Thank this.

Truck Duo worries more about vittles then Tall Mike
a bean and ham soup is bubbling away
and a egg strata is soaking until the morning to be cooked
with spinach onion swiss cheese and ham -
White beans or brown?

I consider myself a foodie. Before trucking we would cook at home everyday but out here you gotta enjoy the fine cuisine of the cities we deliver to sometimes. One of the perks of the job. My trainer was a good ole boy from the south and he had all these places across the country to eat at. While my wife was with her trainer at some truck stop, we were at all these cool places.
He was the one who showed me AC&T. When he first told me about it....I had my doubts since from the exterior it looks like a hole in the wall. The place is clean and the food is shockingly good. Didn't think I'd find good country food in Maryland.
FatDaddy Thanks this.
