Good Night From II

I was a mentor at swift. I was on a dedicated account. It gets boring real fast. Its the same loop over and over again. Day and night 5 or 6 days a week. But if you're a mentor you'll average 1500 paychecks as a company but with that money comes alot of risk. That's why i left swift. Can't trust someone driving while sleep and now i make the same money but im home every night . Swift is a training compnay.

 

When I called on-road and told them the symptoms they asked if the coolant was low.
When I got to the shop they said the same thing, and filled it to the brim.
It seems it is an infamous problem, with many truck brands.

This time they were working on the connector.

I'm thinking that portion of the wiring needs to be replaced.
But that is more work than just trying to clean some connections.

They all seem to know where the problem area is, but don't want to take the time to do it properly the first time.
It would save all of us a lot of time and money.

 

Walmart DC in Casa Grande had no empties, so here I sit at the rest area on I-10 trying to get a load from the Phoenix terminal.

 

Should have gone the other way, 5 truck stops in/near Eloy.

I just got a load from Port Allen LA to Apple Valley CA after my dl said no freight in Lousiana .

 

As the planners book loads those numbers should drop. They did yesterday at least.

 

Mac30 shined on me. 1200 mile light load from SE Pennsyvania to KS. I am SO glad to get out of there.

 

Ahhhhh! So you have an inside connection there... perhaps you could share some of his favorite vices with us so we might also be able to get loads longer than 18 miles that deliver in 36 hours?
