six weeks wow. Thats alot better than 5 months. I wonder why such a big difference. Yes I meant TTCC. The girl there has been great and she even told me if for some reason I didnt pass my test first try they would keep working with me in the truck until I did. I got the distinct impression from the other school that they just wanted your money. I chose this route because i thought it would be the quickest route back to work. Its now looking like this is going to drag on for ages. Cant even apply for funding until the medical thing is sorted.

I am in the same boat as you. I was diagnosed 18 months ago with PTSD. My condition has been stable with medications. I hope to pass my medical without it taking too long. I just got laid off from current job and hope to get second career funding as well. I hope you here back from MTO soon. I will follow this thread with interest.

Unfortunately my doc was away for three weeks so i have not even been able to get mine done. I will be doing it on the 13 and submitting it that same day.It sucks that I keep running into these delays.

How big is this boat? Mind if I take a seat? Ive been at this since mid Jan. 2015. My medical, part 2 review, was recieved by the MTO Mar. 17. Hoping to hear from them soon.

I was finally able to get mine done and submitted monday. They told me a minimum of four weeks. As soon as the four weeks is up I will go to my local mpp and have them follow up. Both the receptionist and the girl at the head office told me the mpp,s can often help speed it along.

I got mine done on Saturday kendt. I am hoping for a quick turn around but I think I will call in a favour from my MPP who is a minister and see if he can get it done in the next couple of weeks. I'll let you know once I hear back and maybe you could do the same for me.

Did you turn it in? I,m curious what they told you for a time line. It frustrates me that I didnt realize sooner i was going to have a problem. A month had already passed by the time i figured it out.

I just couriered it to MOT in Toronto rather than turn it in at the local Driver Test Centre. I was scared it would get lost or just sit on someones desk for a week before being sent to the review panel.

I contacted MTO to see at what stage my medical was at last week and they advised that it had not yet processed yet. I contacted my MPP, who is also a Minister in the Government, to see what he could do to speed up the process. I got word about an hour ago that the medical is all approved. One step closer to starting my training. Best case I start at the end of May, worse case, I start at the end of June.
