I am currently in school now and looked at Schneiders site and saw they are hireing for a regional spot in NC and it says you're home weekly. How true is that and if you get home weekly do you have to slip seat? I know I could ask a recruiter but it is just as easy to ask some of the people that will give me the real answer.
Do you slip seat??

iv tried the slip seating thing a couple times in the past and always got stuck with a pig that trashed the truck abused it ...never again !
semi retired semi driver Thanks this. -
The only time I slip seat is when I don't make a pee stop😱

Schneider does have a bunch of options like work 2 weeks then home for a week that is slip seat with 2 other drivers. I believe they still offer the 7 on and 7 off also, which would have you sharing a truck with another driver but the home weekly should be just that, out 5-6 days and a day or day and a half off then back out.
Good luck -
Slip seating sucks.

I worked regional for a while out of Obetz, left Monday, got back either Friday or early Saturday. Most times it was Friday. No slip seating, had my own truck. Can't be much different out of Charlotte.

slip seating aint bad as long as you get a driver who isnt a pig and a decent tractor.

It's pretty gross getting into a truck that smells like an animal died in it

If I was going to slip seat it'd only be for a local home nightly and weekends job. Never a truck I had to sleep in. But that's just my personal opinion.
drvrtech77 Thanks this.
