I like that Bush Bros as well.
I often get a load there for a home time in MN, or pick one up as I'm. coming off ht.
Those Plus-1 times can be a beech, though.
Bush Bros loads usually have a very wide window of time, unless it's live.
Never believe what you see on a pplan.

I forget where I'm at, and too lazy to look.
In IL near the I-74/ I-55 merge at TA. I got a very needed shower, and now I'm cooking a nice salmon dinner.
A nice day of nearly 600 miles, with 350 to go for a 1500 drop at the Walmart DC near Columbus.
At which point I'll be taking my truck back to the shop so they can re-fix the problem they failed to fix last week - a low coolant warning that's been persistent for some time now.
The engine will de-rate at times, only giving me about 17 pounds of turbo boost. And sometimes when I start the engine I will have the red STOP ENGINE warning and I have to wait 5-10 minutes for it to clear.
Other times it runs fine, and every now and then the light will go out for hours.
It's been a real pain in the backside. -
10% is the norm.
It can really bite if it is a 2,000 mile load.
But in general the loaded miles have been getting very close to actual in recent months. I think they've changed to a different system to calculate it.
Then there are the times that I get routed the long way around just to fuel at a certain place, like my current load.
Headed to Columbus from NE Wyoming and the fuel route had me taking I-80 all the way to I-65, then down to I-70.
I hate going through that area just before I-65. It's slow and very crowded. It's also a much longer route.
I called my DM and said I wanted to take I-80 to I-74 and down to I-70. He agreed it was much better.
Taking the better way I'll be driving 1335 miles, with loaded miles at 1272. That is acceptable to me.
The original fuel route way would have been over 1400. -
Rest area must north of Memphis, TX. Noticed a new Peelot in Childress across from the Wal-Mart. Wonder how long before some drivers tick them off and kick them off the property and tell them to go across the street and trash the truck stop. Was planning on getting to Armadillo tonight but that Home Depot messed up my hours.
OceanDan Thanks this. -
That new Pilot in Childress is nice, I usually stop at the Love's in Memphis for pizza or burritos.
OceanDan Thanks this. -
I used to enjoy that place when it was a Sonic and parking was lots better. Then when it became Loves, went to crap.
-
The Sonic is still inside of it.
-
I've noticed quite a few new Love's truck stops opening, and a few Pilot's.
No TA or Petro, however.
Many more Love's.
I just wish they would include a laundry room for us. -
houstank....been to that danbridge facility few times. easy in and out. narrow 2 lane road getting there but loads were always ready when i got there
