West of Columbus OH on I 70 at a rest area mm 70. Went to bed early without dinner, gonna use my split sleeper and start early. Headed down to Ardmore OK Dollar General with 40k of soup in the wagon from Bay Valley Foods in Pittsburgh. Look forward to visiting OK. Been awhile.

 

Keep an eye on the weather, George. There are supposed to be some wicked storms through Oklahoma and Missouri today and tomorrow. Will try to give you a head's up on anything I see heading your way.

 

10:20 AM CDT Weather Update
Some late morning thunderstorms are developing over portions of southwestern Oklahoma and western north Texas. This activity will move northeast through early afternoon, eventually reaching central and southern portions of Oklahoma around lunch time. Again, this activity is not expected to become severe, though some very small hail, heavy rain and lightning will be possible with stronger storms.
The greater potential for severe storms will be in the 4 to 8 pm time frame from northern through southern and western Oklahoma. Storms are expected to initiate in this window along a stalled front and dryline. Storms will quickly become severe late this afternoon and evening, posing a threat of very large hail, tornadoes, and damaging winds.

I actually had a live unload there before which shocked me but appointment time was later in the evening. ..

 

Thanks gang but getting swapped out in East STL at the Pilot to save on time delivery for a load to Kansas City, in the morning but I see KC is in the path too. Fun in tornado alley. Took a little extra cash out just in case electric money doesn't work.
