try to read MID 130 codes... if "operation failed" check 12 to 24 v doubler connectors and fuses in battery box. Seems to me TCU is not powered.

I does read transmission codes only issues is active code is from engine crank sensor which I unplugged long time ago. If there is extra fuse or relay for transmission where would it be located? I looked over trough fuses in dash and under those but found nothing related to transmission. Also when I check for hardware trough diagnostics menu it does not show which transmission I have all fields are blank ,engine does show all info.I followed instructions from zf manual and checked for voltage after I installed new voltage doubler and there is 23.8 volts on plug that connects to TCU . Is it possible that transmission is stuck in gear and is not in neutral because I drove it when i lost electrical power? Thanks

it may be what ZF calls "torque locked"IIRC,with engine running, release brakes and let truck roll (or get it rolling)Transmission does not know it is in neutral.Hope this helps.Good luck.

But this is ZF transmission. Anyone ever had torque locked this one? If nothing else works I would try that. Thanks

Have Zf parts Manual and Zf Shop Manual for Freedomline. Put foot on break pedal and hold function and neutral button at same time. Codes will show on display. E7 means brake pedal is not adjusted correctly. 39 means shifter. my 2005 had air leaks 22 of them, little tiny ones as they were fixed things got better. Today it was the air pressure regulator. Its neat driving down the rd and having the beeps because the break pedal need adjustment. Group 524 no.1 release 02 dated 8.2013

learn how to start engine under the hood! Some day you will turn the key to start and get dead quiet, and if you look at your shifter it will be dark, no N lit up, as usual on start up. and on the dash the gear indicator will be blank, instead of CH or N. Turn key to on position, open the hood and pop open up the ignition relay by the steering column, and use a little wire to jump across2 of the contacts to start the engine. click the relay plug back together and in a few minutes your tranny will click in to N . This little trick got me going dozens of times. Works when batteries are getting low.

Can anyone tell me what can go wrong with the air pressure regulator on the transmission seems like an expensive piece for no more than what it is
