city of industry ca. left tterminal and 60w was a parking lot once i hit euclid. decided to go around. took 71n to valley blvd. that was a parking lot too. so back on 71 to i-10w to azzusa ave(hwy39) to 60e. finally got here to shipper with 15 min to spare. then find its a tight blindside back. couldnt even back from street since lot is lined with cars. finally had yarddog park it for me. blindside is something i'm not good at in a sleeper, specially in tight areas.

    My truck is being temperamental.
A few house before I delivered near Columbus the check engine light went out.
It stayed out for almost a day so I took a load. 3 hours later it was back on.
    Grrr!!!

So I took an OS&D load from Columbus to Gary, IN.
Dropped that one off here and picked up another t-called load bound for Buffalo, NY.
It was 1600 by then, so I shut it down for the night. I don't want to fight the evening rush.

Loves Prescott AR off I-30. Wicked lightening this morning leaving Effington. Repeated cloud to ground strikes on both sides of I-57 for first hour driving. Got here about 45 mins after their tornado warning ended. Getting nasty again now. Are big rig trailers tornado magnets like trailer parks???? I admit being a redneck at heart so maybe I'll break out the lawn chair and see if I can bag a post storm weather channel interview. [emoji57] Did 537 today. Honest day.

About 300 to deliver. Should be early. Will call in am then see what I can snag for weekend

Well, just as long as you keep straight what you are supposed to be doing - which is teaching.
I think you will do fine, as well as your students.

Please don't forget to teach them how to deal with Mac's 9 and 22 properly, always considering that garbage program Plus-1.
I've spoken to many new drivers that had no clue how to work our system to their own best advantage, but thought that what comes in on the pplan is what they are really expected to do.

I had a company truck (with a reefer) blow by my on I-10 when I was doing 65. And no, company trucks are still restricted to 62 AFAIK.

I don't know how you put up with that place every day!! I HATE going into the Basin and avoid loads going there like the Plague. I would go nuts driving there every day.
