Yeah, Bull Moose. I actually am under another Bull Moose load right now. This one is all the same size tubing, so nice and squared off, rather easy load. Seems like Bull Moose is always going to be the load that gets me out of the house when I take home time.

Is it like a sin when you're not at the 90 when the appointment window opens? I run hard and I'll never be late, but eff man, I feel like it's a crime if I unload at 10 am rather than 7 am.

They like it when you can send in an ETA. -
Metal buildings. When it's big enough for two trucks they tend to pile most of it on one truck and the 2nd gets a small load...
Drew352 Thanks this. -
Just saw this thread. Lol I don't get on much anymore. Got my TNT. He's about 2 weeks from upgrading and we've yet to haul a chained load with him. Despite my constant b****ing about it to the FM. lol hate to tell him but I won't let him upgrade until he does. And sadly it's not his fault.

The other Prime driver pulled in two hours after I got there and he got the secondary load, a preloaded trailer of beams. He threw a few straps, no tarps, and went on his way.
They didn't actually finish mine until well after the other driver left. It was beams and panels and cardboard boxes of stuff tossed on top and wound up rolls of wiring thrown up there too. Between all of the 2 inch and 4 inch straps I used, there must have been no less than 15 on it.
Then I had to tarp it.
That load ended well though. It delivered to a residential address in Kansas where some guy was building a barn or something on his farm. The nicest people I've ever come across.

I'm switching from refer to flat. Can anyone post a pic of a good box and tarps set up? I'm feeling like this is too much equipment for this headache rack
-
on top, strapped down: steel tarps
in headache rack::
chains & binders hanging
coil pads on bottom (chains will have to be on top, but, you'll probably use these infrequently)
pipe steaks on bottom/where ever they're out of the way (as anyone ever used those freaking things? I never did, never saw anyone use them)
corner protectors/edge protectors/v boards/whatever you call them, both the plastic ones and the steel ones for chains
all the miscellaneous crap - those rubber strap protectors(handy for protecting tarps too), tarp repair kit, etc on the shelf
4" rachets, 2" rachets, 2" straps
smoke tarp
below rack, strapped down: lumber tarps
Plastic sheeting: I tossed that in storage.
In side box:
4" straps
It's easier if you're in a peterbilt with the extra side box - i stuffed all of my edge protectors/tarp protectors/chain protectors and some moving blankets in there. That extra box let me have a little more space under the bunk for my own stuff.spartanvalor Thanks this. -
Oh, and no pictures cause I don't drive any more
