TennMan and beyond !

I sat in Gary today hunting for something good to get me through the weekend, I have booked 3 loads and all will be dropped by tomorrow night, then on the 11th I found a load going to south Boston VA dropping later that night, then I got a load picking up in Eden North Carolina going to NJ, 2.56 for about 450 miles, and it delivers on Monday morning, with just the loads I've done this week and the loads through Monday morning im looking at 4,472.06. Im hoping to get something short same day to get me closer to 5, the 17th will be my first truck payment week so I'm trying to hustle, so far im loving this program, It's so much fun being in control of the operation, I haven't received a phone call from anyone at SNI and it's great! Complete opposite from the small company I was with before, they'd call me 5 times a day asking stupid questions. Thanks everybody for the help and support, specially freightwhipper!

 

Lol TV is still not mounted, I was planning on getting home to knoxville this weekend but plans changed so I'll be probably going home next weekend and that is one of the things on my list, I've just been sitting it up when im stopped and laying it on the bed when I'm driving

 

If you have the 4 screws, It's really easy and took me only 5 minutes.

 

Gotta wonder about you KIDS today with your new toys..
Worried about the color of truck and how big of a TV you can put in it...

Not to mention those cell phones, laptop computers, GPS, Electronic trucks that can practically drive themselves down the road.. Then whine about setting at a dock..

We unloaded our own freight, downtime was using a creeper and grease gun {hand pump Kind}, standing in line waiting on a pay phone.. Lucky to go home after being out for couple months... Yep, I do miss those ole days, NOT...
Funny, I do miss trucking...

 

We all are a bit more spoiled these days for sure. I had all those goodies in my truck when I was OTR, (local intermodal now-and I don't like it). I lived out of my truck for 6 years. No house/apartment. No wife or kids so I liked being comfortable and entertained while out. I would be under the hood at every long stop mostly because I'm pretty obsessive about my truck.

 

I believe it's a 32". Remember, you'll be about 6' from the screen. Good size for me. I bought it at Walmart with a built in DVD player for I think about $200

 

i love 32" it feels like a big screen im the truck, only mine doesn't have the built in DVD player, yours must be fancy
