You want the GPS in it to prove where the video was taken. I have sent 3 videos I had of Fedex guys pushing me out of my lane, to fedex, when I first got my Garmin 10 (non gps) and each time they said that truck a asnt in that area and I couldn't prove it.

It's a darn shame you have a video of the truck in the area and the truck doing as you say bit they say it's not in the area and they dismiss it as if it didn't happen. Put it on YouTube and let the public decide.

I have a BlackVue DR 500. It is a little more costly. Has GPS, MPH, Full HD, Wireless. Audio can be turned off. Video can be played back on phone, if needed.

Mph taken from the GPS right? What's the camera lens angle?

TennMann, I'm not sure the general public needs any more ammo against us. :biggrin_25512:

i have the cobra 830...yes it has the gps.... to SEE the gps part you will need to download the software from cobra (free download) to your computer, with the gps software running it will show the video, google maps (where you are) speed, direction of travel, even g-force... it has a 1-1.5 hr battery if it's not plugged in... if it's turned off some trucks the 12v plugs turn off with the key.... if your hit it will auto start and record.... if it's running and you get hit it will auto lock that video and not loop over it.....
the only down side to the gps is that if you send someone the video they will not see the gps part if they don't download the cobra software

if i remember i will post a screen shot of the gps view monday.... can't do it now because it's on the laptop in the truck and i wount be back to the truck till then

A few weeks ago I bought a Street Guardian SGZC12SG - Panorama G after doing a search for dash cams on this forum and saw a large topic with a lot of people talking about it.

Only have one video saved from it, but the quality isn't as good as it could be since I was holding it in my hand because suction cups don't seem to like sticking to my windshield. I can upload it to youtube tomorrow if your interested, could probably find other videos online already though.

The BlackVue has 156*(diagonal), 123*(Horizontal), 90*(Vertical) Angels. I have the 32GB micro SD card in it. Loops about every 12-14 hours. Night/low light is very good.

Thanks, I'll research that camera. It isn't necessary to upload a video.
