general question about starting at schoo

my mom is a truck driver and she's told me stories that have me worrying about her every day. she says it's hard being a female truck driver. she's been asked "so how much are you asking for?" just because she was standing around smoking a cigarette. they asked her if she was a "lot lizard". she also said it's hard if you want to stay in shape as well because all the men will be after you if you decide to take a jog or anything in general outside your own truck. she's been driving for over 10 years so apparently it's not enough to stop her. i hope you accomplish all goals and have a safe and enjoyable career. the main piece of advice i've been told and want to pass on is have patience

 

the company i'm trying for is completely free and you also get your permit there. i've read that there are companies that make you get it again even if you already have it. i don't know if this company is one of them but all i need to pay up front is 70 or so dollars for my permit and maybe another fee for the physical although i'm not too sure about the latter
