I'm not sure the back story here but sometimes you haul what you have to with trailer you have with you. You should see an IC80 broderson on a 9 axle beam.

Thanks, I do like to take pride in the way the tarp job looks going down the road. I may spend an hour or two extra when I tarp but it saves me hours or more on the side of the road fixing them.

Just this trip I came out of the port in Cheyenne and had a driver standing by my trailer wanting to shake my hand and asking if he could take a picture of it. Something like that makes the hours of aggrivation completely disappear. I'll go out of my way to compliment another driver on their tarp job out on the road because I respect the work they put into the job.

And yes, marital unit makes me wrap the presents, that way I know what I'm getting and don't have to try and surgically cut the tape to peek.

tie rod.JPG Heres something one doesn't see every day, thank goodness! Backing a 320 cat into our jobsite a few days ago. Front rod end on the right side drag link, (dual steering). Probably wouldnt have broken going down the road, but maybe someone with a higher authority might have been sending me a message to retire completely & let someone younger have a job (not a chance) lol. Not a real surprise tho, the combined age of the truck & cozad are almost as old as me!! PS, yes I know it could use a grease job.

Mac Guyver would have just grabbed a nickel and a pair of jumper cables and been on his way. AND he would have done it with people trying to kill him.... Soooo what's the problem?
