Cummins N14 & 13 spd with 3.42 rears on low pro 22.5
I did rods & mains about a year and a half ago only because we had a drop in oil pressure. Come to find out, it was a loose wire in the dash to the gauge.
Which is the better deal?

No to all three. Get a pre emissions truck. 2002 or older. No egr.

Have you seen these trucks in person and driven them ? Anyway, the Frtlnr appears to be a solo driver truck and the Volvos appear to be team driven trucks.

Why pay a premium for an apu. Doesn't the rv trailer have a heating and cooling solution?

I'd buy the freightliner before either of those Volvo's ... simply based on it has 690,000 miles vs 1.1 and 1.2 ... Which in my mind makes it the least likely one to require any major engine or trans or rear end work. If you only plan to drive it leisurely then I imagine you won't be putting on a whole lot of miles year after year ...
Is this truck going to be used for personal camping vacations or on the road hauling RV's all over the country? How many miles per year do you expect to drive this truck? -

No to all three, get an older pre-emisson truck. Preferrably a single axle, Look for an old company truck from a boat or RV hauler, they have miles, but never hauled a heavy load, and lots of empty miles dead heading back for another load.
