Hey guys, i am kind of new to this. I passed all my written tests and airbrakes last year but failed the driving. That was in canada. Now im back in the US but probably have to face it all again. I am located in lewisburg, WV. Any tips and advices are appreciated. Do you think i could just ask a local guy to borrow his truck for my road test? Which companies would you recommend as good starter companies? Id be interested in refrigerated or flatbeds. Thank you

Here's some that hire in your area:

Earl Henderson Trucking Co. - reefers
    Celadon - reefers/flatbeds
    Maverick Transportation - reefers/flatbeds
    Southern Refrigerated Transport - reefers

Henderson is quickest & easiest to get with, unless they consider your area a dead zone. Try them first.

These companies have CDL training programs and refresher courses.
