Yep your right I'm going to pass on the job only thing I seen good is free health benefits 36 cents a mile is not good money when you figure in food cost 150.00 a week or more right off the top. Besides I just don't tolerate disrespect because your paying me. I'm old school respect is earned. Will never sign any contract agreement in regards to payroll lost if you choose to separate right there alone is red flag. Trucking has really gone down hill now days anymore I'm gun shy about working for anyone.

DBC...did you go with someone else or sign on with P&B?
-
Texas is big on work place violence 2 people got fired the first week I was there at work for that reason.
-
Im suppose to be starting there in a month. Think the owner is the same?
-
Someone screaming at me wouldn't fly to far... That's a major red flag right off the bat, then to top it off this man steals your $? .... All I can say is "wow" ... Now that takes alot of mercy
.... Bless you driver -
I worked there for awhile. Paul is a good guy; sometimes difficult to get used to and you can butt heads but overall a very good place to work for. I never had a problem getting paid and he will give you all the miles you can handle. I enjoyed working there for the time I was and I still keep in touch with Paul (The owner.)

rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
Hey Prodigy1985, did you hire on with P&B? I'm looking into them now..

Paul is a bad person. This guy talks to everyone in his organization like they are garbage. I have spent time with him as an employee and just went to a couple of social functions where he as well. While worked there I never had anyone say a positive thing about him. He's a jerk!! None of the drivers will report issue's with equipment in fear of getting cursed at. He's got brand new trucks now but old junk trailers. You will be required to work on them so bring tools.

I did get a job offer but I decided to go with a different company.

I was on my way to go to work at P&B I was 10 minutes from the yard and Paul answered the phone, and started to yell at me, for no reason at all. I told Paul to go F himself and continue to drive East, stopping in Mapleton Nd. at Great Plains transport. Flash forward 1 year later happy as one can be working for GPT making more money, coast to coast runs all new, equipment heading to GPT this week to trade this 2015 freighliner for a 2016 Volvo 780 fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. So I have to thank Paul for yelling at me!!!carramrod32 Thanks this.
