Had few good offers for cali but since i only had couple hrs left on my 14 i couldn't do any one of them. Instead i chose to pickup a container by long beach on mon going to Houston. Paying $1.59 cpm to the truck.

I had a killer offer on a OD load but was so big i wasn't comfortable in taking it so i passed. Ended up on a crane move Monday for a little over $2 a mile. Short load only 500 miles down to Augusta, GA. Hopefully find a good load back towards the middle somewhere. I've not been home yet and am pretty well ready for some time off now.

I dont mind crane moves. I mostly hauled counterweights. Remember if u haul a boom not to put the straps in the middle. I still see alot of our drivers do that.
I was offered a od load today. Paid good class 3. 10'3 wide oven long beach to al but not enough time to load today. Plus it was a tarp load. Paid 4k to the truck.

Nice yeah i remember the crane stiff from orientation. Be a good time to do one while it's all fresh in my mind. The od i was offered was 11' 6" wide going to Baltimore. To much for me never having done od before. If it had went to a more rural area i might have tried it. Maybe! Lol

I hope i dont have to go back to LA anytime soon. Spent all day yesterday trying to get 1 container loaded. I get there then find out nobody put my truck in the emodal system so i had to wait 2 hrs at the gate for ats to put my truck in the system but ats said I would have to run to long beach to get a rfid tag. But the girl at the port of la let me in anyways then spent about 4 hrs waiting inline to get loaded. Then got stuck in rush hr trying to get out. Took 3 hrs to make it to ontario but decided just to go to fontana yard. Been easy travels today. Hopefully they will take it thur afternoon then reload to okc or tulsa this wknd.
