Some days it seems like there is a plan but it only is revealed on a "need to know" basis. Other days, I'm pretty sure there is no plan, never was and most likely it's being made up as I stumble along. Been having a lot of "other" days lately.

This is exactly what my week has been. I had a great three weeks then a ridiculous amount of no communication and the right hand not knowing what the left is doing. Glad I am home.

    Astoh and Onadetour Thank this.

I've learned to go with the flow as long as the miles end up ok at the end of the week but last week was unbearable. I carried in 800 miles into the week and limped it home.
In order: 375 mile three stopper over 2.5 days. Breakdown. 55 mile shag with 8 hours of detention. Breakdown. 625 miler over 2 days that did get appointment moved up to get to another shag. Shag was eventually voided and I dead headed the longest I had ever drove to get home. Waiting to see what exactly I get for breakdown and detention. But the miles for this week alone set me back big time. Not sure what's going on?

Onadetour and Wild Murphy Thank this.

I had the same Week! Breakdowns, shags, swapped trucks, and took forever to get home. Checks gonna suck but most weeks are still good. Gonna run hard again this time out and see how it goes.

    Astoh Thanks this.

My last few weeks have been less than stellar. For some reason, about the last month, I've had the vast majority of my appointments as live loads/unloads. You can't get good miles when you have to make solid appointments 3 to 4 times a week! (unless they kept my schedule so tight I was stressing every load)

Wild Murphy and Onadetour Thank this.

Glad it's not just me. Like I said, besides the pressure and annoyance of waiting and making times, it's just killing miles.
