    Me and Matt (Drozzer69) run out of Sealy. The Houston stores we cover when in the area are no big deal. I make a lot of $$$ without ever leaving the Houston metro area. Currently up in North Texas now, so no Houston for the next few days.

    I look at it this way..... Every trip makes money! :)

    As Tom stated earlier, Houston isn't all that bad. Most stores in our market are all supercenters. We have some smaller format stores as well. Just take your time with everything you do when its your time to start. You can make a good days pay running around town. Majority of the time I am mostly gone and running DFW, Palestine, and New Braunfels markets. Either way, you make good pay.

    My husbands previous job was driving propane tanker. He was there for 7 years. Just drive how you know to drive, and remember that your sight lines are more restricted than with a tank.

    You will do great !!! :)

    you better practice some where with one because the frist thing the safety man is going to do is have you back between two trailers with only one slot there . If you keep pulling up he's going to fail you.

    Yes there are Walmarts in the hood sir. Be ready and take your time most drivers for Walmart are the best but a yellow pole can be your worst nightmare and there goes your safety $$$..

    If Anyone on here that's getting ready to go with a mentor...... Do yourself a big favor and take maybe two more days with them on the road to get down that OBC and your back haul and your pallet yard stuff and your ETD'S down man. I know it's a lot of info but you'll get better everyday . I'm not having any issues because I stayed out for 7 days he had me doing everything from day one I never sat in passenger seat. And one more thing to drivers that make it here don't you never ever,ever forget where you came from because you'll never work for a transportation company like this one. Things are done a bit differently here in a very positive way man it's out of control around here LOL I CANT WAIT TO GO TO WORK TOMORROW ..

    like wise matt... was hoping to get to meet you...lol. I do like it over here in Texas... lots of room to roam.... went to Corpus Christi... did gro. load all 3 stores yeah.... that was Sat. then today went into Houston on 2 trips and now on my way back to 48....yeah....lol. Again nice seeing you maybe we will cross paths again one day.
