It's like "rings in a can" or any such product. To stop smoke or leaks. You only use that stuff in a vehicle you're selling to someone else not something you're keeping.

I wouldn't use it. I'd be worried of it gumming up in my turbo and lines from all that heat.

I used their power steering stop leak once, it worked for about a day. Then the leak I had turned into a gusher. Old boy at KW said that stop leak stuff is bad news, it's mainly brake fluid and eventually eats any rubber it comes into contact with.

That stop leak stuff is designed more for cork gaskets. I have not seen one on truck engine yet. Get the leak fixed properly or sell the truck. I would use silicone before using stop leak on anything. It's cheaper.

I think I am following your thinking. I have been floged by idiots before. Sometimes you need thick skin when you relate your experiences or b/w facts on a forum.

The Consensus here, regardless of Feedback, is that using it usually doesn't work, and you are taking a big risk.

That Product, like most in that Category, is nothing but Snake Oil, and to spend the money and Fix it Right.

In Laymen's Terms, Spend the money and fix it right.

I completely understood your humor. You weren't giving me a rash of stupid. You were preparing me for a flogging as I fully expected to hear some ridiculous comments.
