Be more specific. Where is it picking up, and where is it going? And that broker would have to double the rate quoted.

Yes, we deal with the frost laws in some states every year. That just means you need to axles to move that ld.
Some will wait untill frost law lifts, but there are times some needs it like yesterday and they will pay the price.
But some brokers are like well there's no scales this way out and we ship them all the time on 5 or 6 axles.
No need for 9 axles now..
I'm like superhauler, I try not to mention my right that I try and get.. Alot depends on where it's coming from and going too. Permit costs play a big factor also...

Our trucks are running all out. As a matter of fact, it has been picking up because they are getting an early start on the road construction. I'll bet that we have moved 3 crushing plants in the last 3 months with another one moving next week.

yep. it is just starting to pickup this week. but not like it should be. I have 3 loads to do this coming week 470 mile run each. will be a good week. but I didn't even get a phone call the last 2 weeks. thank goodness for planning for the slow times.

    LOL ........ that's cool
I was hoping for a ball park figure just out of curiosity
Its fascinating to watch you guys in action
I came across a Big Load fueling at the Loves in Searcy AR last year
They had 160000lbs from Texas to Massachusetts
I think they said it was a 5 day trip, could be wrong on that
But it was neat of them to tell me the routing

Hope things pick up for you guys !

    RGN Thanks this.
