I remember someone posting 2 Schneider drivers froze to death because they weren't allowed to idle.
No one is that stupid and if they are they should die so they don't reproduce.
As for Heartland, no one is forced to work there. No one is forced to work for a company that has a camera staring at them either.

Is it really a big surprise heartland did a driver wrong? .... Come on really? .... This driver could be completely full of bolona and still be more believable than a recruiter at heartland any day!!!
.... It's amazing how many butt surfing drivers will stick up for a trucking Company as tho they never heard of a trucking Company doing such terrible things to their driving force.... And who's full of it now??? -
How about this....
Heartland express would never run short miles or buy cheap equipment or never insist on shutting the driver down when they have hrs to run and they would never a no idle system put on their equipment just to save fuel why you ask?.... Because they care about their drivers being comfortable on the highway and being prosperous while working for heartland express that's right folks who wouldn't want to drive for heartland express
Please excuse the OP here.... He was just joking about the information, we like to give our potential drivers the BS test to see if they can desifer the truth or not, it's a safety issue..... So come on down and sign up quickly while limited driver seats are still available ......there!!! That should fix the problem atleast we will know where all the butt surfers work at and we can keep them out of the rest of the industryTruckDuo Thanks this. -
The complaints about Heartland have been consistent through the years. It's not like one guy said "They Suck" and another guy said "Thry don't pay me!" Reading through threads here, other forums and hearing from current drivers, it's the same story, almost like it's written for them. Heartland is a financially stable company with new trucks and trailers and lots of customers. And they also now own Gordon Trucking. The problem is, they don't listen to their drivers. They listen to their shareholders. Until that changes, the problems with being employed at Heartland Express will continue and the complaints will still be consistent. It's a good, strong company for the shareholders and Mike Gerdin. For Joe Trucker, it's a never ending struggle to make ends meet there. 55 cents per mile doesn't mean anything unless you can run.

Anyway when you read generic complaints that everybody else has already complained about you have to at least wonder what the driver's contribution to the problem is. Have to drive at night? Oh....you poor thingLonesome, joseph1135 and TruckDuo Thank this. -

Sorry to hear that. Drivers are getting tired of issues like this. Many are getting out of it all together. These companies just don't care about their employees. Its so sad that is has come to this
