5500 to 6500 is fairly common. If you can find a good used truck for 40,000 at a dealer they're going to ask for about that down.

 

I realize the amount you stated is fine... but Lone Mountain has no $40000 trucks any longer and the downs are higher than $5500 for the one I'd want. I won't buy any 2008 to 2010 models which all have DPF systems. So that leaves one model at Lone Mountain. A 2011 F/L Cascadia, with the Detroit for $8000 to $8500 down. Nope... sorry... too much down. I'm not willing to use anything we own outright (like our travel trl, boat, tractor and brushhog, etc) as collateral for a truck that I should be able to finance with just my credit score! But no! 1st time buyers are a plague to the Commercial lenders any more because too many O/O's lost their backsides in 2008-09. So... because of that, which was/is beyond my control, I'm restricted on what I can do and must have WAY TOO MUCH money down. Oh well... it is what it is....

I searched truck paper using (0% down) and got lot of results.

 

Well... I searched it, and all I found was 'false positives'. Nothing listed with Zero Down (0% Down). Thanks anyway....

 

Dang it, looks like I'm late to another party again. I couldn't be much help with tanks or hoppers seeing as how i'm on the end dump side.
