Its quite embarrasing actually, any 1st year driver would have noticed the crack during his/her/its walkaround, in the dark.. Wait; when did they start putting the steering box on the right side??

Color??!?
How can you tell with all that oil and gunk caked all over it??!????
(I keed, I keed....But wouldn't be surprised to hear it from a majority of todays "drivers"......

Well re read his post. They stated dual steering gear box....
You get the bigger front ends and they will have two steering gear boxes. Makes turning a whole lot easier with like a 20k front endtsavory Thanks this. -

No thats a twin steer, dual steering box set ups are for bigger capacity front ends I think around 17,000 and up. There is another steering box on the right side just like the left, except it has hoses running from the left box or "master" if you will instead of a steering input shaft. It has a pitman arm and drag link just like the left side, it's there to "assist" the main box when the front end is loaded heavy.Cetane+ Thanks this.
