Not a bad idea at all. Might be time to look into some nipple pasties on Amazon. At least I can do my part and keep it colorful and interesting for the video viewers.

At the TA in Indy waiting on a load.

The first drop in Arvada, CO turned out to be a pickup. Got that sorted out and getting loaded now.

Final is in Tracy, CA... which routes me up to I-80 in Wyoming. I-80 is closed between Laramie and Rawlins with "21 to 40 big rigs" involved and at least one is going up in flames. After a few phone calls I received permission to run straight west on I-70, then work my way up to I-80 in Utah.

Weird, CDOT shows bare and wet roads at the passes and traffic flowing smoothly, several thousand feet higher than WY. I feel better running west from here anyway.

Katy Tx. Mac 22'd do to a wreck on the Sam Houston in H-town, got to the shipper, (no Svc fail, the God,) 30 min late. No dice. Been sitting here 6 hours and no dock. This load t-calls in LCaster, I should be able to make it to the time once I show 8 in the sleeper.

    Pilot - Eagle Pass, TX

Waiting for my trlr to get loaded at Nexans down the road.

Got caught without my fuel planning cap on and ended up desperately wanting if fuel with only the AmBest in Ozona, TX as an option. Pilots just about everywhere in Texas are at $2.699 per but this hell hole was $3.589 per. This place is simply a mess and they're trying to make up for lack of bid-ness by gouging truckers of fuel. Should be illegal IMHO.

I really wish Pilot would kiss and make up/out(who wants those pics?) with Swift but yea that's some serious gouging. There's an independent Pilot just south of the Pottsville, PA Walmart DC. That place has no prices on the products. Yea you get the dildo at check-out. Plenty of gougers out there unfortunately.

Off home time, but in the shop at Inver Grove.
The check engine light was back on when I brought it in for a bit inspection, so...

But it isn't what I thought it was.
I thought that the low coolant sensor problem was back, but it is actually something in the regen system. A dozer or doser or something that sounds like that.
The shop guy asked if it was regenning OK and I told him that it regens two or three times a day now. He said, ya, not normal.
I've spoken to other shops about the frequent regens and was always told it was normal, and they wished there was no indicator to tell me when it was regenning.

I'll also get a small air leak fixed while I'm here.

Wonderful home time, though. The new apartment is great, as are the staff there. And I've got a great place to park the truck in the parking lot.
We have a great view overlooking the pool and all the way to the horizon.
I did a bunch of cooking, and the kitchen is just large enough to make big meals easily.
So I'm taking it easy for one more day before I hit the road and try to make some good miles.

Holbrook, AZ. What a mess getting a pplan today. Finally got off the vacation board and my TM could not even understand why I was on it since I was in KW. Also found some other issues regarding the snap shot on my truck and the board. Now because was not off the vacation board on Friday can not send in a home call because it is not 12 days. Will just have to have Dm take care of it in the morning since it was her fault in the first place. Got into another argument with another dm at my terminal. Dispatched me to PHX to pu mt trailer. Tried to tell him the rules at PHX. The planners there have to send the solution with trailer number. He just argued with me to go there and go to the t-call window. This is the 2nd time that he and I have had words. Likes to talk down to drivers.

I've had those types. Usually weekenders or night timers.

It is one of ours at IGH and he is a normal day timer. Have to admit, once off the Vacation board got a pplan that had no appointment but was supposed to deliver on Thursday, 1400 miles, said no since after sitting due to some one else's fault, I needed miles. Got the same pplan and this time t-call in Edwardsville on Wednesday. At least it will give me almost 1300 miles. At least enough to make the truck payment and see a little check.
