Total Transportation; isn't that company owned by US Express? Big time lawsuits on the way. 5 nursing students dead because he wasn't paying attention.

So sad but this driver and company will pay dearly for not paying attention.

This is getting ridiculous with the steering wheel holders running over people...no wonder these safety groups are after this industry. ...time for more stringent standards.

just like that driver who killed all those people in KY cause he was texting, is why we cannot use any hand held phone & a steep fine if caught.

Wasn't this accident in about the same area they had a multiple truck/car pileup with numerous fatalities a little over a year ago?
If I remember correctly that accident was the result of people speeding in low visibility foggy conditions.

Well, regardless if the cell phone laws were instituted mainly due to any multi-fatality wreck,
and even if there was no such law today, it's just good safety practices to never use any handheld cell phone/texting while driving.

That's one law I wish they'd clamp down more, especially on all the 4-wheelers that violate it.

    SHO-TYME and drvrtech77 Thank this.
