    Hello Everyone,

I drive a 2007 Freightliner Columbia day cab that has a problem with the wiper switch not turning off the wipers without pushing and holding the top paddle button in.

This happens whether in the fast/slow or intermittent mode.

Seems the only way to turn off the wipers is to catch the wipers on the down stroke, then press and hold the top button in till they park.

I don't have the Operator's Manual and this is extremely frustrating while driving...

I think maybe the switch is old and probably shot, but does anyone have some ideas or dealt with this wiper turning off problem?

    Thanks.

new switch will quickly resolve the problem. Mine, '08 CL120, does it too, so I'll replace the switch before long. I wish all my problems were this easy.

    UPDATE:

Turns out it was the combo wiper/washer/delay switch that was the problem.

Now it turns off with one button push instead of multiple stabs, jabs and pushes...

Only cost $130.88 from Freightliner - what a "rip"... (company paid for it though)...

    Thanks for everyone replying!

I installed it myself and that price was for the part only...
