I think that you can get a Bison / Buffalo Burger when Indian Fest is going on at the Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee. It runs after Summerfest when the ethnic festival's are going on..

Well, I have made it to Rapid City, SD from Seattle so far with little to no problems. Took the 212 last night and that was fun. A lot of deer out of the side of the road. Some even looked like they wanted to jump in front of me as well. Surprisingly though, the moment I crossed into Wyoming there were no more deer.

I was lucky I made it to the pilot in Rapid City before my clock ran out. I literally pulled into the parking lot and it went to zero, lol. Good trip planning I guess.

I can say I have loved the route very much so far. Way better then taking I-80 by far.

    Good luck,

Glad you enjoyed it. 212 used to be a narrow goat trail but they've rebuilt most of the bad sections over the last few years.

Well I'm headed back east with the same decision on routes. Enjoyed my time running 90 and 212 out west. I think heading back east I will run 94 the whole way just so I can post a good comparison of my experience running both routes for future reference to someone, although I do kind of want to run that MO-200.

You mean MT200? Lol. It's a good run, in the late spring and summer. Rogers Pass is nice, it's mostly two lane with a lot of wide pull offs to take a break, plus a few truck stops along the way.

It's a beautiful ride. Good running up there, but during winter a lot of it is black ice. Speed limits are 60 in the day and 55 at night but rarely enforced.

Just remember when heading back east as you cross into WY on occasion you will see a Full Grown Bear sitting waiting for a customer as the speed limit slows to 45 as you are passing though that intersection that has a warehouse ( Ive picked up at ) on the west side....
