Your vehicle is not moving because this time of year, everyone is full leaving FL with snowbird traffic. Just because 1 vehicle gets posted on CD does not mean it goes timely. Besides, FL to Las Vegas is not a heavy traffic lane. FL to SoCal would probably be on a truck already.

This kinda stuff ticks me off! What a joke! (the wanna be brokers)
It's the busy time of the year. Brokers normally won't dispatch a carrier a car until about 2 days out. It normally takes up to a week to get a truck booked. This is what happens when you call everybody and their brother to move your car asking for a qoute. All these south Florida crackhead brokers screw it up for everyone else. -
Is this your POV (own car) or are you a business looking to move a car for a customer? If it is your own, instead of using brokers who post the car to Central Dispatch why not go directly to a transport company such as Dependable Auto Shippers? Personally I do not like them much, was a terminal manager for one of their contract terminals, but they do get the job done. They have a fleet of their own trucks as well as broker trucks but do get it moved. They will even arrange door to door service or if you are willing to bring it to their nearest terminal they will give you a better rate. When I ran the Albuquerque terminal we sent small flatbed tow trucks all over NM and CO to pickup and deliver individual cars then the OTR transports would come into our terminal and build the loads going to the next terminal, it worked well, although we were required to give the DAS drivers 24/7 access, which meant myself or one of our drivers had to meet them anytime the driver wanted, and it was tough doing a secondary condition report/inspection in the middle of the night, missed a lot of little transport damage that way but we (the terminal) were still responsible for it.

If you are in Orlando, go over to the Orlando Auto Auction or the one in Ocoee and see who is loading, ask questions of the haulers. You might try contacting United Road.

Thanks for letting me know about DAS. I had a really hard time finding a carrier! I didn't know which company was a carrier and which company was a broker. I will try and ask them.

haha! Its actually a "her" car. I am female. Yes its a 2014 MDX. I am not actually in Orlando, but on the delivery "to" end. I was considering flying out to Orlando and just driving it back, but I was nervous driving by myself.

DAS is bouncing checks to carriers, I'd stay away from them.///////////////////////////Last edited by a moderator: Apr 26, 2015
