Well, due to the fact that I know exactly who it was, I'm going to remain kinda vague as its a pretty sore subject as you all can imagine.

The basic jist is that there was an equipment failure on the dolly, it's still unknown what failed at this point. But the dolly took a hard right hand turn that was uncorrectable at 45 mph.

The beam barrel rolled once the dolly hit the dirt at the bottom of the embankment and came to rest up side down hanging over both lanes of traffic.

When the wrecker went to slide the end in the dirt towards the road, the beam gave and broke in two.

VERY LUCKILY, not a single person was injured (besides a couple soiled pairs of pants) and the equipment damage was fairly minor. The tractor that was involved was actually on the road home under its own steam the next day. After an alignment and new suspension mounting bolts on one axle.

Well either they have made mods to this one or their scales are way off because that's what it read when I left their yard with it.

We have issues some times with our steerable beam dollies making a turn when they were not supposed to. Luckily we have not had anything damaged yet. It seems that it happens near traffic signals. The steerable dolly that I used, I left the motor off until I needed it. Most of the trip was interstate and I was only 95 feet long so not a big issue.

The first picture was a test load - 179k gross

Unfortunately my overall length was not under 110' - came in at 112'

Good news on the drive axle / Jeep weight split - 54/46. This should allow me to scale 120k with the load cg just rear of center.

I will say it hard on the psyche to go back and be a beginner again. I will have to rebuild all
    my routines.
