Anyone know of a good company for disability insurance. The company I'm looking into requires you have it or workman's comp.I received one quote for $325.00 a month, thought that was a little high.

Seems very high. Assuming you're a 1 person show...does NE require comp for the company owner? Comp varies by state and I do not have experience in your state...but around here you can by an annual comp for an owner for $750 a year and if there are no claims you get $450 back.
I don't carry comp, I have a personal policy that covers me on or off the job, short term, long term, partial and full disability. $8k/month cap. I pay just under $150/month. I got it through my insurance agent. -
Thanks,Im having my agent do some rechecking, everybody seems to agree with you that it sounds high, plus they want a complete medical exam with blood work done. What company did you go with?

Are you sure they aren't requiring Occupational Accident insurance in lieu of Workers Comp? That's typically what most companies require when you lease to them. They run around $150 a month for million dollar policies.

This will satisfy MOST companies. Great West just changed their plan to the best they offer for $170 ish
