    No corner protection of straps
    No chain not even one.

    That looks so much like it is gonna want to move. He will probably lose the dunnage on the back of the load between layers too.

    does that need chains as belly straps or just over the top?
     
  9. On steel plate you need to have a chain over the front to arrest forward shift. uploadfromtaptalk1430800210949.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1430800284122.jpg this is a fat steel block. Same principal.

    Steel plate is sharp as well as flexible. It will bounce on the dunage and loosen the straps. Then all it takes is a nice gust of wind, hard braking, a corner. And off you 1/2" plate goes sailing....

    Not a good thing to have happen.
