Thanks rotax74. Yeah I did everything already just waiting on final interview call. Just am curious as 3 and half weeks is a while but I'm sure worth the wait just getting a little anxious.

More than likely they are trying to make sure they're going to have more than just you in orientation. Just be patient buddy.

I have run Pete's before. They take a bit more room to turn around. I would take it. Slip seating is not easy. You will make better time on a program cause you will have the truck for a whole five days. Just take your time with the Pete. Different blind spots cause of the narrow cab. Funny thing is I can blind side( at least one store we have you have to for the gm) in a Pete better than any other truck lol

I know how you feel. I prefer the Cascadia over the Pete. You could always accept this program and bid on another later as it becomes available. At least you would have the same truck for each 5 day period and be able to potentially earn more money.

Are you referring to store 1279 over at West Road and I-45? I was just there again this week. To me, backing into the dock is less of a pain then getting out of there and back onto the main roads and rolling due to the traffic and no traffic lights. :)

No, the trucks are all very clean and well maintained. Slip seating is more of an inconvenience issue to me as you would need to move all your gear to a different truck one or more times during your 5 day work week, thus taking away time you could be spending making money. Even if you were to travel light as I often did, the slip seating could still limit your earnings depending on how soon the truck needs to be returned to the DC. For example, if a driver were to be assigned to a truck today and the truck needed to be back at the DC by tomorrow night, it would limit how far away you be dispatched and still return the truck in time. I was still able to earn $370+ a day when I was slip seating, but I had to hustle and make good use of my hours. Like I said, to me it was more of an inconvenience moving my gear to a different truck during the 5 day week more than anything.
