AMEN! I'd rather run western 11 and Midwest than anywhere else.

From what I've gathered on this site and checking over the used truck on quality's website, I believe most of them are 13, with a handful of 10's, some auto 10's. Wouldn't see a bed for an 18 in normal freight haulin.

Mind you, they only show used trucks mainly, and not a whole Hell of a lot of details on em. New ones don't even show pictures, just very limited info. Wanna know more, best to call them and ask.

My D.M has me on a good run that will put 5k to the truck, you need at least 3k to make this work, last drop in Springfield IL, and then I want to get to Indy to have truck worked on.

Everyone is put on a waiting list for reefers, until then you will run dry van, and they will tell you, that they don't do well out West, (at least for Eagle). When I get my reefer in will try to run west if I get a good set up, for now I'm running the SE.
I don't know about shipping your stuff by Fedx, talk to a recruiter about that, you are not put into hired status until you complete all Celadons training vids, you have to have a good drug screen, good physical, pass road test, E-sign required paper work, if you get this far you've made it, welcome to Lone Star country.

My D.M and I work the boards hard, if I find one that pays well, if confirmed it's mine, if he finds one that pays well and it is going to where I want to run, (with these trucks you don't want to sit long) I take it, it is all how you set up your runs, and you have to watch you fueling like a hawk, that is where you make your money.

Kenworths, Pete's and Lone Stars all have 13's, the Cascadia has a ten, and I see they are getting some 12 speed auto's in, but I think those are going to Celadon.

If they have the 12 speed auto cascadia available to Eagle lease purchase, I'll take one. I got to test run one before and I will admit, the 12 auto is WAY better than the 10 and almost as good as a 13. With my shoulder, I'd take this for comfort over anything. Also depends on the HP in those DD15s though.
