2500 miles a week for regional. 3k for otr. Benefits are good and affordable. Not sure what you mean by accessorial? Starting pay depends on which route. Our insurance requires you to go through the training program. .34 otr, .32 regional. .02 raise after you complete each stage. 4 stages.

It's worth it! Or you can go through a couple crap companies then come to hummer. My buddy just did that.. :) he's happy now, but his resume looks like crap.

Not sure if I'm using the term correctly...by accessory pay I meant pay for loading/unloading, detention, breakdown etc

Detention pay at 20 an hour. Layover pay can't remember, only happened when my truck went down(150.00 day?) Breakdown is the same as layover. They're quite fair about these things!

Don't fall asleep in orientation! Remember orientation is still kind of an interview. I would not wear flip flops and crap clothes. That being said no need for a tie either. Look like you have some self respect. Sad but true people show up looking like Hell and not clean, on and on.

My husband just started with Hummer. It almost seems like a dream come true. Such an amazing company so far. He talks about it all the time at home. As far as the axles on the trucks, he said they are phasing them out as we speak.
