    A10 -

Q11 - If the insurance company offered the technology, the technological solutions to monitor and maybe even help in improving your health, would you pay the extra money? Why or why not?

    A11 -

    1. No, I smoke, I am not healthy because of it, but I can keep up.
    2. I am in good shape, my metabolism keeps me very skinny, but I am strong and my stamina is great.
    3. I eat seafood and salad, its cheap partly because I live in AK and fish a lot. I don't eat steak because I can't seem to make it tender enough and it hurts my teeth/gums when chewing. It's just cheaper to catch your lunch or dinner. I do eat eggs, bacon, and hash browns quite often for breakfast though.
    4. I am a lucky trucker in my eyes, I currently deliver freight on a daily basis which I must load onto my truck and unload, it is hard work but for good pay, I walk an average of a mile a day while carrying, pushing or pulling my delivery, which ranges from pharmaceuticals to transmissions for local dealerships.
    5. I worry about my health yes. I especially worry about my smoking, I want to quit, but I lack willpower to quit. Soon I will take Chantix which has been recently made into a law in which truckers cannot use it; guess I will use it during my vacation in October.
    6. When I drove OTR yes, I felt lazier in the way of not being able to move around much, but I was expected to stay up long hours and drive long hours which mentally is very tiring.
    7. My co-workers are the healthier ones, besides my boss. They don't smoke, they hunt and fish which requires good health. My boss is a hockey coach also...he is in good shape but he smokes like me, he's about to take Chantix to. Two of my coworkers are women and they go to the gym on a daily basis before and after work, we don't give them problems.
    8. I have Cigna health insurance, Davis Vision, and MetLife Dental..I pay for the ultimate plan which is $40.00/month.
    9. I am alright with technology, I type 65 words per minute, I am Microsoft certified in Excel and Word, thanks to college, which I do part time since back in November 2007.
    10. I prefer technology to monitor my health. Because of it I know my BMI is 17 which under weight, I know I must eat more proteins to help gain weight of course the Army taught me that to. Some programs will personalize a workout plan for you, which I find to be extremely helpful.
    11. I wouldn't pay extra no, I want my insurance to be perfect thats why I pay so much now, I expect it to be the best and don't think I should have to dish out any more money then I am already paying.
