Trans Am Still

When I got to the KW dealer, they knew nothing about the truck. Not in their computer system. Its not here. I called dispatch to let them know. But they had it pinged there. So I walked the yard and I found it. Showed it to the service guy, but he told me he had no key for it. TransAm is overnighting a key. Hope they get it today. There is damage to the truck, the fairing that goes over the passenger side fuel tank is completely gone and the tank has some dents in it, and other light damage. Hoping I can drive it out of there today. Three more days of no miles, stranded in a hotel. Paying out of the nose for food delivery so I can eat. Too dangerous to walk the streets around here, but most hotels in the area are booked solid. Mothers day and the Atlanta Hawks being in the playoffs. Lets see what today brings.

 

Exactly what is supposed to be better about this new format? For me, the quality is less than half of what it was originally. This is not going to be helpful to any of us at all.

 

I'm with you and George on this format. I can't even figure out how to move around on the phone format! George, sorry to hear you're having a bad go right now. Chin up, dude. It took me three companies to find a somewhat decent fit. You'll get there.

 

The only advantage I see to the new format, using my tablet, is a larger font for posts and response box. Like most new things, it will take a little time to get used to it.

Be safe on those snowy roads, Cranky and jaso....I know, you've got this. BTW, didn't the queen curse someone (cranky?) recently with snow?! Freaky!!

The Queen jinxed me with her snow forecast. I hope the bobcat poops on her car now. LOL

 

It was supposed to get the Cranky One...... and I was feeling bad about it hitting jaso .....now, not so much! Watch out for Donner ......
The King very graciously allowed me to use one of his garages for my car since mine is a mess! My bobcat is missing and I am afraid someone got it. The King had the tractor out mowing on the back of the property and someone had obviously been back there. He hit rebar stakes with .barbed wire wrapped around them that someone had driven into the ground. Whoever is back there hunting may find that they are now the hunted ones......

George........it is time......there is a better situation out there waiting for you. If you know me at all, you know that I don't say that unless I mean it. I don't feel that you were ready until now. The number one rule for a driver, as far as I am concerned, is that you must be able to safely sustain a reasonable livelihood with a company.

 

Omg I hate this new format!!!

I'm in IL and deliver two stops tomorrow morning. My DM says she WILL get me home by Wednesday. Happy mothers day ladies!
