A few of us will pop in and see you when you are in orientation at Sealy. I run out of Sealy too. :)

Several different plans administered through Aetna, though Walmart pays the claims. The medical insurance has been better than it looked on paper based on personal use. Reasonable prices too, especially considering the huge rise in insurance premiums the past few years. In addition, you will also be eligible for a long list of other benefits that all start on day one.

Hey Tom, I love your avatar. Sitting on our bedroom dresser is a "cars" Walmart truck and trailer that has opening sides and removable freight. LOL

It was one of many WM items that Rick got for Xmas when he got hired. This includes Walmart Pez trucks. LOL

    TomOfTx Thanks this.

I have a few of them at home. One on my desk and one my son plays with. I picked my avatar based on the Wally Hauler truck. :)

Go through previous comments on this thread if you haven't already. A lot of useful accurate stuff that they are looking for on road test and pre trip. I hear that jtgordon. That's the toughest thing being away. I have to lay over 2-3 nights a week on what I'm currently doing so not a big change for me. The biggest thing for me is providing as best as I can for my kids as well.

Just let her know that you will only be in your truck for 4 nights, and will be at home for 3. You will make at least an additional $30K a year, which will take a lot of pressure off of the family, financially. This means that when you are home, you will truly be "home." You will be able to enjoy your time off, because you won't be worrying about money all of the time. Plus, you will be able to take the kids with you, one at a time, when they are not in school.

My husband talks to our son every evening, before he goes to bed, and we have a family meeting once a week when he is home. The time you will spend with your family, when home will be quality time................. and you will not just be a body at home. I know what that is like, as I lived with that for many years before Rick got this job. It truly does make that big of a difference.

Have your wife come to my wife's thread. She can ask any questions she may have. This is a good thing for your whole family. I know it is hard, but we are all there for you, and for her. Good luck. :)
