I don't know what kind of product you are planning to haul but if it's gasoline forget it. Just about all the companies I know bid on their shifts and the lower driver with no time gets the last shift and that's weekend and nights. But, and I say BUT, it never hurts to try. So your best bet I believe is getting out and going to the companies. Talk to them face to face and they'll have a good picture on you. So when they need a driver you want to be they just might call.

You'll make more hauling chemicals. Quality Carriers has a terminal at Institute and Dana has one at Nitro. All have some local and regional runs. Call and talk to them an find out.

Yup. The more miserable and painful your death would be in an accident the higher the pay.
