SNI would want to see at least 6 months of van OTR experience before you go to choice. Which really isn't enough time, I'd recommend around a year. I know I wouldn't have been ready at the 6 month mark. Don't think they will let you on or let you lease a truck if you don't have that. To be blunt there are some that really succeed and others that fail at it... pretty hard, lol. It's not an easy gateway to good money by any means, regardless of how it appears from reading this section of the forum. The guys that are posting here are the ones that are successful. The ones that can't make it work just disappear off into the abyss and you never hear from them.

Most company drivers that I talk to on dedicated accounts are, fore the most part, happy. If I drove company again that is what I would do. Some dedicated accounts have lots of manual labor involved, others not so much... make sure to get ALL the details.

Is it true that SNI bulk lost a LOT of customers due to the workflow transition? That's what I heard and would explain why it was so slow. It's really too bad because everything I heard about SNI bulk was great, especially for new drivers looking to do a little more than just sitting in docks.

To fail here you have to either be really really dumb or extremely lazy.

There are dumb drivers many of them.. in orientation they told us about a driver who busted but yet drove some crazy number like 160,000 miles + in a year but would only do long loads and with even deadhead hundreds of miles to get to the long loads that pay trash.
