I had to take a Google Maps tour back to GP in Big Island just for old times sake. That's as close as I care to ever going there again. If SNI didn't send me into the Northeast after leaving me home I was pretty much guaranteed to take a nice trip to that fricking mill. Of course the excitement was greatly intensified that one time I missed the entrance and ended up getting to experience first hand just why trucks over 65 feet in length are prohibited on 501 south. Had to go into Google Streetview mode to relive it all first hand. It's a good thing they cared so much about restricting that route that they added absolutely no place to turn around, let alone a pull-off to stop and get your bearings, before driving up the side of that mountain.

Good thing they SNI hall monitor safety patrol weren't watching that day as you can guess what I did right here... LMAO

What you did conforms to SNI policy. You pulled off the roadway into a private lot large enough to turn around. You then made a safe and legal left hand turn.

Think that's good enough spin.for.me to get a job as a pundit?
