You can thank me for those steering wheel controls.
I cursed out Schneider Finance about that in my truck and then went to the dealership in Green Bay to ask what it would cost to add them on and the dealership said "oh your the one" I was like wtf? They said finance called the dealership and told them a client biotching about the lack steering wheel controls lol.

I was soo pissed...
SFI was like "these are expensive trucks and we can't have every option on them"
I said "really? you all spec the truck for buttons in the sleeper to lock to door locks from my sleeper and a button for red LED nightlights in the sleeper BUT you don't put steering wheel controls in???"
Yeah that shut them up.

 

many many many loads.. higher rates leaving Chicagoland and cheaper going in.

You can do really well running back and forth between Indiana and Ohio, that's what I've mostly been doing.

 

You from the Midwest to freightwipper... How often do you get home ... I'm tried of being away from home 4-5 weeks at a time

 

I live in Knoxville and go home whenever I want which isn't much but hey it's my choice.
Since I've been here 99% of the time I run from IL-IN-OH-PA and a little VA.
Last two weeks I averaged about 2100-2200 miles and $4700 in revenue per week just in IN, OH, PA and VA.. one load picked up in KY but right by the IN boarder.
Got lucky with a few loads.

One good load really bumps your averages up.
Like yesterday I did a multi stop load in PA.
Load was 140 miles and paid $816

 

What's the freight market look like in Minnesota? ..in general.

 

Question... I got approved just waiting on the SFI rep to call me how long do it tàke been waiting a week... Some other manager supposed to call

 

Have you filled out both applications? SFI aND National?
