Anyone else starting SpringMO on May 11th?

Swapped trailers and got the next load from Big Tex in Wills Point, TX to head to Commerce, GA.

 

Athens, GA to Cookesville, TN on Monday. Dropped these off Tuesday morning and drove back to Athens yesterday.
I've driven about 25 hours so far, practiced backing a few times on the empty back row of a truck stop and in to a dock to unload yesterday. Really enjoying myself out here.

 

Back to Athens Cat yesterday to load up again. Left this morning headed to San Diego and then near Sacramento for these two pieces. Going to get a lot of driving hours on this run.

 

Stopped for the night just west of Abilene, tx on our way to San Diego for a Tuesday morning drop. Stormed with hail an hour after we parked so I'm glad we were here instead of on the road. Drove 532 miles today and feel pretty good. My trainer offered to drive if I got tired but it was manageable. Did 300, took our 30 minutes, then did the rest. Traffic was surprisingly light except for a few slowdowns in Shreveport and Dallas. And finally, practiced a few 90 degree back ins since the lot was only about 1/3 full when we arrived.

 

It's been a few weeks since I posted but things are going great. Got my driving hours/miles completed and came back to the yard on Tuesday. I was able to get the trifecta testing out and leave today with a new trainer for TNT. We are headed to Phoenix. My psd trainer resigned and took a job closer to home to have more time with his family.
