2006 bendix volvo air dryer

    2006 Volvo 670 d12 engine okay had a problem with my turbo had to replace it on road also messed up my charged air cooler which i replaced also replaced my air governor when my air compressor was bad mechanic didn't clean out line for debris in system. OK all work was done so do to that mechanic had to bypass my air dryer was bad so i got back to the yard and replaced my air dryer which was new Bendix ad 9 model once i hooked it up truck billed to 60 psi air drier start leaking from the bottom non stop from the spit valve what could have been done for this to happen checked fuse for air dried that's good so what can be causing this any help will be greatly appreciated

    It could be your Turbo Cut off Valve (if equipped with one) or the Purge Valve, you can replace it yourself with basic tools and the parts cost around $65.00 each.

    the purge valve is on the air drier if so i just put a new air drier on yesterday

    drove the truck back to yard 350 miles by passing air dryer is there a certain procedure when yo by pass the air dryer and is there anything different hen reconnecting it back

    There is isn't any special procedure for R &R the Air Dryer, you could have a defective part on your new Dryer or debris in the line.

    I think I had this problem once after I replaced an air governor, I believe the problem was I blocked off one of the ports on the air governor that was supposed to stay open, I'm sorry I can't be more specific, my memory sucks sometimes.

    ok found out the problem when mechanic put on air governor he crossed the hoses which made air come out the purge valve on air dryer
