salmonella-tainted tomatoes

The Wendy's near my house had a sign up saying they were not selling tomato's until further notice.

 

A little late for me. I bought a whole bunch of roma tomatoes from WalMart last week. Now I hafta figure out how to use them. Maybe spaghetti sauce?

 

the Subways and the Taco Bells here have pulled tomatoes from all their products. i didn't know anything was even going on till Sunday when i saw the sign up at the Taco Bell in the Mall

On the news they said put them in less than boiling (just barley less) for a few seconds
And make sure you wash before and after the boil
The problem is on the surface so that should be all it takes

It seems like a given that my luck was bad if I didn't make it.

Or do you know whether the pearly gates are in my future??
