I'm still working, May has become a really distant bad memory.

 

May is a really recent bad memory for me. I am on a "leave of absence", but I am applying for jobs around here (Sacramento area) and hope to never see Brooks again.

Towards the end, they were assigning me only crappy loads; all the good ones are given away to their "engineered routes". It became nothing but GP/Costco after awhile.

In my next gig, I want to be away for a week at a time (at most!) and also want to never, ever, ever deliver toilet paper to Costco retail stores with two or three stops during commute hours.

Also, I need to park my car somewhere somewhat close to Folsom. (Lathrop is too far!)

 

You might wanna check out Material Transport a flatbedding outfit in Sacramento. They got local and otr (out 5 days, off weekends) although even with otr, you still might be parking in the yard a couple of nights a week and spending the night at home. Sick pay, vacation pay, medical and 401k.. I live in Rescue and park in our yard at Bradshaw and Jackson road. You can pm me if need more info.
