Can anyone tell me what the costs are for health insurance at Air Liquide? I was also wondering if anyone could tell me how the loading process typically works at a bulk center? Does the driver load his own truck? Does the operations staff participate in loading?

I don't know anything about how Air Liquide works in the HR department. I work for a competitor.
Loading a bulk cryo truck is simple. You drive up to a loading rack, hook up the hose, enter the truck info into the computer, press start and the system does the rest. Easy breezy.
Plant operators will help you if you screw up (after they look at you like your an idiot) but usually there will be other drivers there to give you a hand if you need it. Some air separation plants are manned 24/7 while others are manned 9 to 5 and run on autopilot at night. -
Just that little bit of info tells me a lot more. I feel like a greenhorn truck driver asking if Swift is a great company to work for. I just got a job as a plant operator for Air Liquide and don't really know much about the company or job. It seems like the pay is a little low, but I don't really know what one should expect in this industry. I make $20hr for a 40 hour work week. Other than that I don't know much.

OK so you're an operator. Then you will have other things to worry about other than loading trucks. Drivers will do their loading.
Again I know nothing about Air Liquid's pay scale but I'm guessing the $20 per hour is because you're a new hire. I'm sure it will go up as soon as you get certified to run the plant by yourself. Consider it a stepping stone for other positions in the company if that's the direction you want to go.
Good luck. -
Stick with the operator position. You get hired on later at a petroleum refinery you can make upper 20s an hour to mid 30s. Granted you can burn to death too. You can make 700 in 12 hours for a holiday.
