How find the problem?

  1. Replace the cruise system

  2. Any other electronic system failed

    Hi,
I bought 2011 cascadia in 2014 July from Arrow Trucking, Phoenix, AZ.
I am having the shutdown problem , when it shutdown, after few swconds all the gauges reset and rig begain working ,REmember, it all happens in 4 to 10 seconds, come once a month approx average, but since January 2015 it coming more often, one time it comes 11 times in one way from Nogalas, AZ to jessup, MD. Just due to its tention it took me 7 days to arrive at destination. I notice one thing, most it comes after sunset( Dont know why) so far only 1 time happen in day time. I went 3 different freightliner dealership, ( the worst experience I had in Tucson, AZ freightliner dealership, requesting never go there, I have good experience with Chandler & phoenix location). Even I took to Landover/Lanham, MD location after 4 days they didn't find anything).
What I am thinking most it happened when the cruise on. Do I think it would be batter if I replace the while cruise system, may be some where any wire has been short. Every time I take to dealership they couldn't find or able to doublicate the issue & unable to find the shortage of voltage in the electronic register,
    Need exper advice,

    Thanks for reading,

You have a high resistance intermittent open (hardest to find),
Start at the batteries, clean all connections, including grounds, coat with dielectric grease before reassembling.
Load test the batteries before reconnecting..
The ECU MUST see clean battery power to stay active..
If this does not correct the issue, work your way forward (main fuses, power distribution boxes, ect)..
Make sure the alternator has clean power and ground (same as battery) and test for proper charge..
