Burning bridges is never a good idea.. Every time I gave a not
I'm in the same boat as you I called my company and told them I'm putting in my notice and that I would like to be at the terminal in 2 weeks to turn in the truck and they ran me like crazy last week but might get back a few days earlier than I requested. Never good to burn bridges unless they burned you.

    Roknric and Westenntrucker Thank this.

What a lot of drivers don't understand about Eagle's program is that it is very expensive, you have to do at least $3k or more per week to get a check. Also if you want to book your own freight, know the market rate for the lane you want to run, know how to book your loads so that you reach that $3k a week, if not you will end up in the hole, and if you have been using a broker, see if they are on Eagles approved broker list, if not, see if they will approve them. Don't just come for the new truck, and no, the recruiter and the website won't tell you everything, they are the sales people, their job is to bring you in, by telling you what you want to hear.

It's a good place to work, but you have to be smart about things, and the guys that are doing the best, don't share info with other Eagle drivers, if you do go into the red, money wise, your DM will get you out and into the black, and keep you there, but you have to go where they send you and that maybe a lot to the NE, which is good for dry van, and remember, it is about the business, not about the truck or what truck you drive.
